Psychiatrie psychologie - N. f. Du grec thumia, de thumos [thym(o)-, -thymie, -thymique], coeur, affectivité, relatif à la passion. Exacerbation de l'humeur affective. L'individu atteint d'hyperthymie passe du rire aux larmes, d’une attitude familière à une ironie agressive, d’un sentiment de toute puissance à des attitudes provocantes et hostiles. Adj. : hyperthymique : qui est atteint d'hyperthymie.
